Lukeplaza Hotel
Luke Plaza Hotel is a premium hotel located close to central Nagasaki City. The rooms feature bright, modern interiors and an open, comfortable feel. The hotel’s restaurant takes pride in freshly harvested vegetables, and at breakfast you can enjoy a rich lineup of about 30 menu items at all times. For hotel guests, breakfast also includes fresh organic vegetables, fruits, and honey from the hotel’s own “Luke Organic Farm” cultivated on Mt. Inasa. You can enjoy produce such as taro, bitter melon, eggplant, green peppers, okra, and corn, but especially notable is the honey: the hotel keeps the rare Japanese honeybee, and the honey collected from Nagasaki’s flowers has a fragrant, deep, fruity taste. Access by car: after exiting the Nagasaki Expressway at “Nagasaki IC,” go via the Nagasaki Dejima Road. By public transportation, it is about an 8-minute taxi ride from JR Nagasaki Station. By bus, take Nagasaki Bus Route 5 from the Nagasaki Station-mae bus terminal bound for “Inasayama” or “Inasayama Chufuku,” get off at “Kanko Hotel-mae,” and it is right nearby. A free shuttle bus also operates from JR Nagasaki Station, but service is irregular, so inquiries are required.
