Musubi-no-yado Airinkan
Musubi no Yado Airinkan is a hot spring ryokan in the Hanamaki Onsen area, where surrounding mountains and the soothing sound of the Toyosawa River flowing right in front create a grand sense of nature. One of Airinkan’s highlights is its extensive onsen area, consisting of three large public baths—"Yama no Yu," "Mori no Yu," and "Kawa no Yu"—each with different views and concepts, plus a total of 17 baths. In particular, on fine-weather days, "Kawa no Yu" becomes a semi-open-air bath when its large windows are fully opened, letting you feel the Toyosawa River, deep greenery, and open sky up close as you gently relax and recover from travel fatigue. Airinkan offers 12 types of guest rooms to match different purposes and budgets, including special rooms with private open-air baths. There are also rare compact rooms of just 4.5 tatami mats that are budget-friendly yet still let you enjoy Airinkan’s appeal—recommended for solo travelers and business stays. Breakfast and dinner feature plenty of Iwate flavors, including Iwate-grown "Hitomebore" rice, Morioka platinum pork, and abundant mountain and sea ingredients, letting you enjoy regional tastes that make your trip feel truly local.
