Hasshoku Center

Hasshoku Center is a large-scale market complex made up of three main areas: the "Market Building" with around 60 shops including fishmongers, butcher shops, and confectionery stores; the "Kuriya Stadium," a dining zone where you can enjoy sushi and Hachinohe’s famous "senbei-jiru" (rice cracker soup); and the "Aji Yokocho" food alley serving Hachinohe ramen—soy sauce-based ramen made with broth from dried sardines, chicken bones, and pork bones—along with set meals and more. At Shichirin Village, you can grill freshly purchased seafood and meat from the market right on the spot over a shichirin charcoal brazier, enjoying a hands-on barbecue experience. With family-friendly facilities such as Kuriya Land and Wanpaku Plaza (with play equipment for children up to third grade), plus Kids Land featuring a game center and an indoor amusement area, it is also highly recommended for families. At the conveyor-belt sushi restaurant Hasshoku Ichiba Sushi inside Kuriya Stadium, you can enjoy seasonal local fish caught in nearby waters such as Hachinohe Port at reasonable prices. Although it is a bit far from JR Hachinohe Station where the Shinkansen stops, you can reach it in about 12 minutes by the 100-yen bus. There are also large home improvement stores and bookstores nearby, so it is a convenient stop when looking for souvenirs.
