ミッドランド スクエア

Midland Square is a Toyota Motor super high-rise building in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, and inside it functions as a full-scale commercial complex. From shopping and dining to a movie theater and even a wedding venue, it offers a wide range of things to do in one place. It is the tallest building in the Chubu region and ranks 7th in Japan by height. The outdoor observation facility, Sky Promenade, rises to about 230 meters and offers sweeping views over Nagoya City. Because Sky Promenade is open not only during the day but also at night, it is also a prime spot for Nagoya night views. Another highlight is the double-decker elevator. While double-decker elevators also exist at places like Roppongi Hills, Midland Square’s elevators are glass-walled and see-through, allowing you to ride while enjoying the scenery. Restaurants and shops include stylish yet upscale-casual brands that are popular with younger visitors. Access to Midland Square is about a 5-minute walk from the Sakura-dori Exit of JR Nagoya Station.
