Kamisato Service Area
Kamizato Service Area (Inbound) is a service area on the Kan-Etsu Expressway located in Kamisato Town, Kodama District, Saitama Prefecture. Although it is a highway service area, it can also be accessed from local roads and has free parking. The service area offers ample parking—56 spaces for large vehicles and 296 for standard vehicles—and both the gas station and EV charging stations operate 24 hours. As the first service area when heading toward Tokyo, it is also a valuable stop where you can enjoy a wide range of Kanto-region gourmet foods in one place. Both the dining and shops are open 24 hours, making it an easy stop without worrying about time. A popular souvenir is Shinshu-style Shingen Mochi. The service area also includes a bakery, Starbucks, a post box, and even a lottery counter, and it serves as a major rest stop for highway buses as well. In 2016, Kamizato Service Area (Inbound) was renewed as Dramatic Area Kamizato. Access to Kamizato Service Area (Inbound) is on the inbound lanes between the Fujioka Junction and Honjo-Kodama Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway.
