Ryotei Notoya

Ryotei Kaiseki Notoya is a high-end ryokan in Awazu Onsen, Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It’s popular for authentic Japanese cuisine and crab dishes. Enjoying Kaga cuisine served on beautiful traditional craftware like Kutani-yaki can be deeply satisfying. Awazu Onsen has a history of 1,302 years, and Notoya itself has been loved locally for over 700 years. It draws repeat visitors from across Japan and is also popular with overseas travelers. Notoya’s onsen is from its own private source, and you can enjoy 100% source-fed hot water 24 hours a day. The spring is a sulfur spring containing hydrogen sulfide gas and is famous for leaving skin beautiful. Both men’s and women’s bath areas include a large bath and open-air bath, plus jacuzzi, sauna, and lying bath. There is also an assist lift on the stairs, making it safer for elderly guests and children. A private open-air bath in a separate building (paid) is also popular with families. Access: about 5 minutes by the inn’s free shuttle bus from Awazu Station.
