Kanazawa 100bangai
Kanazawa Hyakubangai is a commercial complex built under the elevated tracks of JR Kanazawa Station. It’s right next to the station whether you arrive by Shinkansen or conventional rail, making it a popular spot that’s very convenient for tourists. Its predecessor was the Kanazawa Station Department Store, and it was renewed at the same time the Hokuriku Shinkansen opened. It is divided into three areas: Rinto, Anto, and Anto Nishi. Rinto has youth-oriented shops like Kaldi, Tully’s Coffee, Francfranc, SHIPS, and Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten. Anto is the area where you can enjoy souvenirs and gourmet foods, and it also includes the Kanazawa Station Post Office. Anto Nishi is more of a town-style commercial area with the Via Inn Kanazawa, convenience stores, Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore, a food supermarket, and medical facilities. Because it targets Shinkansen users, you can find everything here—even last-minute souvenir needs. Access: immediately outside the ticket gates at Hokuriku Shinkansen Kanazawa Station.
