オアシス21

Oasis 21 is a multi-purpose urban park that opened in October 2002, bringing together facilities such as a bus terminal, a sky garden, and a shopping area. With direct connections to Sakae Station on the subway and Sakaemachi Station on the Meitetsu Seto Line, it was created to host events inside the park and encourage interaction among the many people passing through this highly accessible hub for travel within and beyond the city. Today, it welcomes large numbers of tourists and local residents every day, not only bus users. The park’s symbol is the huge water-filled roof known as the "Spaceship Aqua," an aerial garden with a fountain pond that has also been used as a filming location for many TV commercials. During the day, you’ll see visitors enjoying a stroll 14 meters above ground and families watching the fountains. At night, the area is illuminated and becomes a popular photo spot alongside the Nagoya TV Tower. At Oasis 21, a space called "Galaxy Plaza" is furnished with seating and tables for viewing, and events that citizens can enjoy are held every week, making it a lively spot loved by people of all ages.
