Suruga Health Land

Suruga Kenko Land is a combined health spa complex and hotel where you can enjoy hot springs and baths. Located in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, it’s about a 10-minute drive from Tomei Expressway Shimizu IC. Shuttle buses also run from JR “Shimizu” Station, JR “Okitsu” Station, and the JR “Shin-Fuji” Station area. The facility is known for its views of Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji, and it offers 20 types of baths including saunas. It also has natural hot springs such as “Suruga Taiko no Yu,” a fossil seawater onsen that springs from ancient strata and warms you through to the core. The health spa operates year-round and is open 24 hours, making it a paradise for bath lovers. Lodging options range from compact, reasonably priced Western-style, Japanese-style, and mixed rooms to larger rooms accommodating up to 7 guests. There are eight dining venues offering local Shizuoka flavors including seafood. Relaxation services such as chiropractic/seitai, body care, and scrub treatments are also available. After bathing, you can rest in free-use relaxation spaces including a lounge, TV-equipped reclining seats, and a nap room. Admission fees apply to day-use bath visitors; for overnight guests, admission is included in the room rate. Note: the main baths close for cleaning—women 3:00–4:00, men 4:00–5:00.
