Kifunosato Ryokan

Kifunosato is an inn where one of the major charms is Yuunogo Onsen, a “beauty-skin bath” hot spring with over 1,200 years of history, and a source water said to be so effective it can even heal wounds. In addition, there is a women-popular “yakuseki steam bath” that uses 13 kinds of natural minerals and warms the body through far-infrared radiation and steam—letting you enjoy hot springs with a strong focus on beauty. Private open-air baths are also available, so families and couples can bathe together. Dining options are very rich, with five types of dining spaces, meeting a wide range of needs from small groups who want a quiet meal while viewing a garden to large groups who want a lively atmosphere. Rooms include standard Japanese rooms as well as uniquely named rooms such as Nojigiku, Miyakowasure, Hiougi, and Botan—names that make you want to stay, and the beautiful room designs are said to create many repeat guests. There is a free shuttle bus from JR Hayashino Station and from Mimasaka IC; if you contact the inn in advance, they will pick you up according to your arrival time.
