Nara Walk
Nara Walk is a group of interpreter-guides that provides guided services in English and French. All guides are nationally certified tour guides, and the tours are available not only to overseas visitors but also to Japanese customers. Walking tours around Nara City operate daily from March 1 to November 30. During the winter season (December 1 to the end of February), only private tours are available. The most popular tour is the "Nara Park Classic Tour," a standard approximately three-hour tour that walks through Nara Park while visiting the World Heritage sites Tōdai-ji, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and Kōfuku-ji. Other tours include a Naramachi tour, a Nishinokyō tour, and a one-day tour combining Hōryū-ji and Tōdai-ji. Private tours are also offered, with itineraries and durations tailored to each group’s needs—such as overseas business guests, friends visiting from abroad, or club activities for people learning foreign languages.
