Seiroukaku

Rokakaku is a yakiniku restaurant famous for Morioka’s signature cold noodles and its quietly popular dessert menu. It is located on the second floor of the commercial facility "GEN Plaza" right in front of JR Morioka Station, about a one-minute walk from the station. The calm, comfortable interior has more than 100 seats, including tatami seating that can accommodate up to 40 people, as well as table seating suitable for solo diners. The recommended menu item is the special warm noodles, made with a rich soup that blends tail soup and short-rib soup based on collagen-rich meat and seven kinds of vegetables—hearty, filling, and nutritious. Two hidden-hit desserts are the Imperial Vanilla ice cream and the Gold Yogurt Ice cream. Imperial Vanilla was created after repeated trial and error in collaboration with Fujiwara Apiary, a long-established Morioka honey producer. Gold Yogurt Ice cream uses "Kin no Yogurt," an award-winning yogurt that has received the Iwate Governor’s Prize.
