鞍ヶ池公園
Kuragaike Park is a large park located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. The park includes Kuragaike Pond and Mount Wakakusa and is connected to the expressway, making it a popular spot for both tourists and local residents to relax. Around 1,500 cherry blossom trees are planted throughout the park, attracting many visitors in spring. With facilities such as a zoo, botanical garden, Toyota Kuragaike Memorial Museum, and an English garden, the park spans approximately 96 hectares. Visitors can enjoy boating on Kuragaike Pond, large playground equipment, an indoor play park, and expansive grassy hills that are well maintained. Flower gardens and the English garden are beautifully landscaped, offering grand scenic views. At the tourist farm, sheep roam freely, creating a charming and rare sight, and the animal interaction area allows visitors to touch animals directly. Due to the park’s size, a paid park train operates within the grounds. Access to Kuragaike Park is about 20 minutes by bus from Toyota City Station. By car, it can also be accessed directly from the Kuragaike Parking Area on the Tokai-Kanjo Expressway.
