Nago Pineapple Park
Nago Pineapple Park is a facility in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture known as a “paradise of pineapples.” It lets you see, learn, and taste Okinawa’s pineapple history—enjoying pineapples in every way. It also features other tropical fruits. Because the park is large, you travel through it either by the Pineapple Train (a pineapple-shaped bus) or the Pineapple-go self-driving cart. When you arrive, go up to the second-floor botanical garden and you’ll be surrounded by plants like a jungle in 360 degrees—an experience that’s hard not to love. There are also plenty of activities such as the Dinosaur Adventure Tour and Mega Animal Garden × Pineapple SL. Finally, enjoy lots of pineapple before you leave. Access is by getting off at the Wataja-baru bus stop on a local route bus, then walking 5 minutes.
