Hotel Marumine

Marumine Kanko Hotel is a long-established ryokan nestled along the scenic Okawa Gorge, often referred to as the inner retreat of Aizu. The property consists of three distinct buildings: the Marumine Main Building, ideal for families and group travelers; the Marumine Annex, offering a variety of room styles including those with private open-air baths; and the exclusive Sansui Detached Villas, limited to just six rooms, each equipped with a private indoor bath. From the windows, guests can fully enjoy the magnificent natural scenery of Ashinomaki. Highlights include a 30-meter-long glass-walled large public bath overlooking the Okawa River, a cypress bath made from 2,000-year-old ancient hinoki that offers a forest-bathing experience, and open-air rock baths. The hot spring water is a mildly alkaline, clear gypsum spring containing calcium and sodium, known for its gentle feel. Guests can savor authentic kaiseki cuisine made with locally sourced Aizu ingredients, served in a relaxed dining space tailored to each accommodation plan. A day-use hot spring plan including meals and rest has been available since August 2020, allowing visitors to enjoy the onsen and fine cuisine without staying overnight. The ability to choose rooms that suit your travel style adds to the appeal.
