Onyado Toho Hotel

Onyado Toho is a hot-spring inn known for its signature bath "Sora no Yu," inspired by the concept of a "crescent moon floating in the sky." In the lobby lounge, there are self-serve beverage dispensers (hot coffee, oolong tea, other soft drinks, and ice) set up so guests can relax at their own pace. The buffet "Agaransho," where you can enjoy as much Aizu traditional and local cuisine as you like, is often called "Aizu’s kitchen." For those who prefer private-room dining, "Kissho" offers a full kaiseki experience. Breakfast buffet is another reason for the inn’s popularity: along with Japanese and local dishes, it also features freshly made ramen, omelets, and smoothies, showing strong commitment to Western-style options too. Rooms are available in Japanese, Western, and Japanese-Western styles. Access is good: about 20 minutes by car from Aizuwakamatsu IC, and about 15 minutes from JR Aizuwakamatsu Station by free shuttle bus (reservation required) or taxi. The surrounding area is also convenient for sightseeing connected to the Shinsengumi: "Kondo Isami’s Grave" is about a 15-minute walk, and the Aizu Shinsengumi Museum is about 15 minutes away by car.
