Hotel & Resorts Saga Karatsu is a large resort hotel with views of the Genkai Sea. Operated by Daiwa Royal, it stands next to Niji no Matsubara, one of Japan’s Three Great Pine Groves. There are also izakaya-style Japanese restaurants and a cafe bar for relaxed time. By public transportation, it is about 3 minutes by taxi from JR Higashi-Karatsu Station (JR Chikuhi Line). By car, it is about 40 minutes toward Niji no Matsubara via National Route 202 from the Fukuoka urban expressway and the Nishi-Kyushu Expressway, or via Taku IC when coming from the Nagasaki Expressway toward Karatsu.
