Toyoko Inn Morioka Ekimae

Toyoko INN Morioka Ekimae is the Morioka Station-front branch of the nationwide Toyoko INN chain, located a 1-minute walk from JR "Morioka Station." The area around the hotel has many restaurants, including specialty shops for Morioka’s "Three Great Noodles": Morioka jajamen, Morioka reimen, and wanko soba—great for enjoying local flavors. About a 20-minute walk away is the Morioka History and Culture Museum, which provides sightseeing information and introductions to traditional culture, as well as exhibits on Morioka’s history as a castle town—helping you get to know the city more deeply. If you take a bus from Morioka Station to "Tsunagi Onsen" and get off, Tsunagi Onsen is right there; it is a historic hot spring said to have been discovered by Minamoto no Yoshiie and is also known as Morioka’s "forest parlor" (mori-zashiki). It’s recommended to visit before returning to the hotel or on your way home. The hot spring area is surrounded by expansive nature, with various leisure facilities and scenic spots. In Morioka City, you can also enjoy windsurfing, boat sailing, and fishing at Gosho Lake, making it a comprehensive leisure spot as well.
