Sapporo Dome

Sapporo Dome is a domed stadium and indoor soccer venue in Sapporo. It has served as the home ground for Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo and the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, and is known as Japan’s only fully indoor natural-grass soccer stadium. Because of this unique setup, many events and international competitions have been held there, and the venue’s large site area (305,230 m²) has made it famous as a major event location. Even when no event is happening, visitors can enjoy facilities such as an observation deck with views over Sapporo and a paid Dome Tour that lets you see behind-the-scenes areas. There is also a shop selling official goods for both teams, making it a beloved "holy place" for fans. Restaurants are open regularly, and during events, local-style boxed meals are sold at concourse wagon stands for visitors to compare and enjoy. Access is about a 10-minute walk from Fukuzumi Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Toho Line.
