Hotel Ichibata is a hotel in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, located in the Matsue Shinji-ko Onsen area, with 143 guest rooms and banquet halls for various uses. Because it sits on the shore of Lake Shinji, you can view the sunset from guest rooms. Dining features abundant local foods such as seafood from the Sea of Japan and the “Shinji Lake Seven Delicacies,” letting you enjoy the region’s cuisine. After taking in the scenery and food, you can relax in the top-floor observation hot spring large bath, with an open-air rock bath and jet bath—also with lake views. Alcohol options are plentiful, and rooms include both Japanese-style and Western-style. The hotel’s new building was planned to open in spring 2021.
