Hana Beppu

Hana Beppu is a hot spring ryokan located in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture. Also known as Beppu Onsen “Take to Tsubaki no Oyado Hana Beppu,” it is a well-reviewed inn popular with tourists. Inside, the floors combine tatami and bamboo flooring, and walking barefoot feels pleasantly comfortable. The hot spring is a sodium bicarbonate spring, and bathing options include indoor baths, open-air baths, a steam sauna, and private family baths. Whether you soak right after arrival, after dinner, or in the morning, each time offers a different atmosphere to enjoy. The interior and guest rooms make generous use of Beppu’s famous bamboo, creating a nostalgic feeling while still offering a sense of special occasion. In the evening, enjoy stylish, upscale dinners made with plenty of local ingredients along with local sake. For breakfast, rice cooked in a traditional pot is recommended with freshly laid eggs as tamago-kake gohan. In the lobby lounge, you can relax in a peaceful space surrounded by bamboo. Access to Hana Beppu is about a 6-minute walk from JR Beppu Station.
