Re Cove Hakone

Re-Cove Hakone is a hot spring inn where three generations can enjoy a wide range of facilities. Room types include Western-style, Japanese-style, Japanese-Western, and suites, accommodating needs from couples to families. The inn also offers popular onsen-trip activities such as table tennis, along with a game corner and karaoke—so you can have fun without leaving the property. The hot spring water is brought in from Owakudani and is a rare milky, cloudy bath type for Hakone, known for supporting fatigue recovery and general health. You can soak deeply in the open-air bath or hinoki bath. Dinner is a Japanese-Western-Chinese buffet. A signature item is the asparagus “ippon-age” (whole deep-fried asparagus): an impressive dish featuring a huge asparagus wrapped in meat and fried, about 25 cm long and 2 cm thick. Other offerings include crab, sirloin steak, small side dishes, and desserts—each item carefully crafted by the chef. Breakfast highlights include dried horse mackerel sourced fresh each morning from a partner fish shop and yuba-toro rice. Access: get off at the Hakone Tozan Bus stop “Sengokuro-mae” and walk about 2 minutes.
