Konnyaku Park

Konnyaku Park is a theme park centered around konnyaku. With the concept “tate-yoko naname mo oishii!” (delicious in every direction), it’s a facility where you can learn about the deliciousness and culture of konnyaku, a traditional Japanese ingredient that’s used in a wide variety of shapes (square, rectangle, round, triangle, etc.) and dishes. Konnyaku Park offers many free activities such as factory tours and a buffet. The site is divided into three connected zones: the konnyaku shirataki factory zone, the jelly factory zone, and the buffet & souvenir zone. Major highlights include the powerful factory tour experience and the energetic konnyaku buffet. There’s also a kitchen where you can make konnyaku jelly by hand (reservation required by the day before; paid), and in the souvenir area there’s a 500-yen “stuff as much konnyaku as you can” corner, plus many Konnyaku Park limited items.
