Kotosankaku

Kotosankaku is a hot spring ryokan in Kotohira Town, located within easy walking distance of the main approach to Konpira-san. With 225 rooms, the guest rooms are modern, simple, and comfortable. Room types include Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and Japanese-Western rooms. The hotel has two wings—Sansui-kan and Hiten-kan—and the open-air bath differs depending on which wing you stay in, so choose the one you like and enjoy the hot springs to your heart’s content. Sansui-kan features a “boat-shaped rose bath” with roses floating across the entire surface, along with indoor and open-air baths. Hiten-kan has a scenic observatory bath where you can soak while enjoying a wonderful view. The two wings are connected by a luxurious corridor called “Kotosando.” Meals feature luxurious dishes using Setouchi seafood and Sanuki countryside ingredients. Because many guests stay here in order to climb Konpira-san, the hotel also offers extensive services like massage, foot acupressure, and esthetics to help tired legs recover.
