Kayabukinosato Yakushionsen Hatago
Kayabuki no Sato Yakushi Onsen Hatago is a healing hot spring inn that recreates a thatched-roof village, using a site of about 7,000 tsubo around Yakushi Onsen, a spring that has naturally gushed in the mountains of Agatsuma District for about 200 years. It can be enjoyed both as an overnight stay and as a day-use hot spring. The relocated thatched-roof buildings across the spacious grounds are used as museums displaying antique chests, folk tools, and local toys, as well as dining venues—allowing you to experience the atmosphere of a good old era. Both staying guests and day-use bathers can enjoy this cultural experience. The hot springs include the open-air bath “Takimi no Yu,” where you can relax with the sound of the nearby Nurukawa River and beautiful seasonal scenery (fresh greenery, autumn leaves, snowy views), and the natural free-flowing “Yakushi no Yu” source bath. Enjoy your favorite time in this thatched-roof village that changes expression with the seasons.
