A & W Naha Airport Store

A&W Naha Airport Branch is a hamburger shop located inside Okinawa Airport. As a burger chain you can only find in Okinawa, it’s popular for serving big, junky, American-style burgers. Just like Blue Seal ice cream—also an Okinawa-only staple—many visitors make it a goal to “conquer” both before leaving. Because it’s inside the airport, many people who didn’t get around to trying it elsewhere rush here, so there’s usually a long line before flight times. The burgers are unique and worth trying, but be sure to order the Curly Fries as well. The screw-shaped fries are sprinkled with an original spice blend, giving them a spicy flavor you won’t really find outside Okinawa. In addition to burgers, there are also sandwiches, so you may find it hard to decide on a main item. Access: get off at the Kokusaisen Ryokyaku Terminal-mae bus stop; the shop is on the 3rd floor inside Okinawa Airport. There are other locations, but the airport branch tends to have “airport pricing” (higher), so being able to eat the same menu is a plus.
