Momotaro Tourist Information Center

Momotaro Tourist Information Center is an Okayama Prefecture tourist information office where you can pick up pamphlets and get explanations before sightseeing. It is located inside the large shopping complex “Sun Station Okayama,” directly connected to JR Okayama Station, making it extremely convenient. Because you can stop by right after getting off the Shinkansen, if you have time it’s recommended to visit here first so you can understand highlights before heading out. There is also a rest area, so you can drop in to take a break while waiting for a hotel shuttle bus or train. Staff who can speak English, Chinese, and Korean are also available, so if you ever find yourself struggling after being asked something by a visitor, it may be kind to guide them here. They provide not only Okayama information but also sightseeing info for nearby prefectures and the wider Chugoku region, so it’s also useful if you have travel plans beyond Okayama.
