Ginzanso
Senkyo no Yado Ginzan-so is a ryokan in Ginzan Onsen, about 40 minutes away by shuttle bus from JR Oishida Station. Upon arrival, the lobby offers complimentary hot coffee, perfect for a short break. Guestrooms all face the river and provide excellent views; from the windows you can enjoy the murmuring flow of the Ginzan River and its beautiful stream. One of the most popular features is the spacious, open sulfate hot spring bath. In spring, you can feel a pleasant warm breeze; in summer, cicadas can be heard through the trees; in autumn, leaves dyed yellow and red show the change of seasons; and in winter, you can enjoy the quiet stillness where you can almost “hear” the snow. The bath is wonderful in any season, letting you take in the scenery, listen to nature, and relax. In addition to the hot springs, a ganbanyoku (hot-stone sauna) using jade, bakuhan-seki, and tourmaline is also popular. Ginzan-so’s ganbanyoku is a dry type, so humidity doesn’t become too high; it won’t feel suffocating, and you can warm your body slowly and comfortably.
