Tottori City Tourism Information Center

The Tottori City Tourist Information Center is located immediately by the South Exit after you leave the ticket gates at JR “Tottori Station,” a key hub in the San’in region where the JR San’in Main Line and Inbi Line connect. As the gateway to Tottori and San’in travel, it’s recommended to stop here first upon arrival. It provides clear, free maps covering all of Tottori Prefecture and the entire Tottori City area, plus a wide range of pamphlets and detailed dining/sightseeing information. Discounted advance tickets for various attractions and discounted bus tickets may also be available. They also have abundant information on rental cars and train transfers, making it a helpful place for both planning and problem-solving. At the North Exit of JR Tottori Station, there is also a JNTO-certified “Tottori City International Tourist Support Center,” aimed at foreign visitors, offering sightseeing info and transportation/taxi guidance in English, Chinese, and Korean.
