The surrounding area is famous for a townscape that feels like stepping back into the Edo period, and the well-known sightseeing area of Samurai Residence Street is about a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Along the way, you can enjoy a recommended stroll full of discoveries, including shops selling the traditional craft kabazaiku (cherry-bark work) and Japanese sweets. At the hotel’s on-site restaurant "Oshokujidokoro / Sabo Sakura Komachi," the cuisine focuses on seasonal local dishes.
