Tsuki no Hotel is a hotel with an extremely convenient location just a 1-minute walk from JR Sakata Station. It newly opened on November 28, 2020, and quickly became popular as a base for both business and sightseeing thanks to its stylish yet unpretentious atmosphere. Standard double rooms that can be used by solo travelers are equipped with free Wi-Fi and a work desk in every room, and some guests use it for telework. Breakfast and dinner are well received, featuring local cuisine made with abundant Shonai ingredients from both sea and mountains—such as imoni, squid sashimi, and soy-marinated egg yolk—allowing guests to fully savor the region’s natural bounty in both appearance and taste.
