Tea Ceremony NAGOMI
Tea Ceremony Experience Nagomi is a hands-on tea ceremony experience facility located along Ninenzaka in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto. During the 45-minute session, participants learn about the tea ceremony, enjoy a formal tea service, select their favorite matcha bowl, and prepare matcha themselves. The shared-session plan costs 2,700 yen for solo participants, or 2,500 yen per person for groups of 2 to 10, while children are charged a flat rate of 1,600 yen. The experience is especially popular with school trip visitors. Sessions start hourly from 10:00, with the final session beginning at 17:00. A plan combining kimono rental and tea ceremony is also available, making for a memorable travel experience.
