International Stadium Yokohama
Yokohama International Stadium, commonly known as “Nissan Stadium,” is a stadium in Yokohama City. It was developed with use in mind for the 2002 FIFA World Cup and was also used for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. With a capacity of 72,000, it is the largest outdoor multi-purpose stadium in Japan. It serves as one of the home stadiums for Yokohama F. Marinos and is also a major concert venue. For dining, “sMiLe table,” supervised by the team’s registered dietitian, is recommended—you can enjoy the same menu as the players, with a main dish plus side dishes and soup for both nutrition and volume. In addition, the 4th and 5th floor “Gourmet Town” areas offer many food options, from local specialties to hot snacks and soft-serve ice cream. Access: from Yokohama Station it’s about a 12–14 minute walk; from JR Yokohama Line “Kozukue” Station it’s about a 7-minute walk.
