Takamatsu Symbol Tower
Takamatsu Symbol Tower is a skyscraper in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. Located right next to Takamatsu Station, it is connected to JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu. It is the tallest building in the Shikoku region, and when Takamatsu appears on TV, Takamatsu Symbol Tower and JR Takamatsu Station are often shown together. It houses large-capacity facilities such as Sunport Hall Takamatsu and the Kagawa International Conference Hall. There is also a large outdoor plaza where events are held. Once a month, a local-products market (marche) is held in the multipurpose plaza, offering chances to discover delicious Kagawa specialties. With a total floor area of 103,264.16 m², it is one of the largest complexes in Shikoku. Underground is parking, and the tower building contains many offices. On the 1st and 2nd floors of the hall building is Maritime Plaza Takamatsu, where you can enjoy shopping and dining. Facilities like “e-Topia Kagawa” also run classes and events for both children and seniors, sharing the appeal of digital technology. Access is about a 1-minute walk from JR Takamatsu Station.
