Yunotsubo Street

Yunotsubo Kaido is a popular sightseeing street in Yufuin Onsen, Oita Prefecture. It is a tourist-friendly streetscape where you can snack as you walk and pick out souvenirs. Recently, Miffy Forest Kitchen opened here, creating a lively spot that is irresistible for Miffy fans. With around 70 shops, visitors can enjoy outstanding local eats. If you step off the main street, you will find luxury ryokan in Yufuin Onsen, and you can also enjoy drop-in hot spring bathing. There are also museums nearby, and it is recommended to combine Yunotsubo Kaido with Lake Kinrin for sightseeing. Access to Yunotsubo Kaido is a 5-minute walk from Yufuin Station. The area around Yufuin Station is also lively, and because Yufuin Station, Yunotsubo Kaido, Lake Kinrin, and museums are all close together, it is recommended to tour them as a set. Because it gets crowded, events are also held from time to time.
