Sato Yosuke Akita Branch is located in the basement of Seibu Akita, right by Akita Station, making it easy to stop in after shopping. The interior is spacious and open, with plenty of table seating, plus tatami seating and private rooms that can accommodate up to 20 guests. A retail corner is also attached, selling a wide variety of Inaniwa udon products—including direct-store exclusive items and gift sets—so you can enjoy a meal and pick up souvenirs in one stop. The most popular choice is the smooth, springy Inaniwa udon with its excellent bite, but the restaurant is also known for unique dipping noodles such as Thai curry tsuke-udon, which is hard to find elsewhere. A standout for spice lovers is the "Green Curry Tsuke Udon," made by adding coconut milk to Hinai-jidori chicken and Akita’s shottsuru fish sauce for a mellow yet rich, flavorful finish. Don’t miss the Akita-branch limited sets "Chokai" and "Taihei" either: Chokai pairs Momobuta pork loin ginger pork with rice and udon, while Taihei offers a fried platter with rice and udon—great for hearty appetites and growing teens.
