Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen Hotel Konansou

Konansou is a luxury ryokan representing the Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen area. The views from the inn are outstanding—you can enjoy spectacular scenery facing either Lake Kawaguchi or Mt. Fuji from your room. With a relatively limited number of guest rooms, the inn’s hospitality suggests attentive, personalized service. Access is excellent from the Tokyo area. By car: about 5 minutes from Chuo Expressway “Kawaguchiko IC” (about 3 km), or about 30 minutes from “Ichinomiya-Misaka IC” via Misaka Pass. From the Tomei Expressway, exit at “Subashiri IC,” go via the Higashi-Fuji-Goko Road (~18 km / 40 min), exit at “Fujiyoshida IC,” and head to Lake Kawaguchi. By train: take JR Chuo Line limited express (about 56 minutes from Shinjuku direction, or about 1 hour 44 minutes from Matsumoto direction) to “Otsuki Station,” transfer to the Fujikyu Railway limited express “Fujiyama,” and reach Kawaguchiko Station in about 40 minutes. By bus: about 1 hour 45 minutes from Shinjuku Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku), or about 2 hours 45 minutes from Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit to Kawaguchiko Station. A free shuttle bus is available from Kawaguchiko Station.
