Misasa Onsen Saiki Bekkan
Misasa Onsen Saiki Bekkan is a historic ryokan founded in 1877 (Meiji 10), offering one of Japan’s foremost radium hot springs—rare even globally. You can luxuriate in both the famed waters and their proud cuisine. The meals are a chef’s showcase of exquisite dishes using abundant local ingredients from Tottori and the San’in region, letting you fully enjoy seasonal specialties. Room categories are divided into three types—Satsukien, Ryokusuien, and Kashoen—so you can choose the style that fits your needs. A popular feature is the in-house “umeshu bar,” an unusual amenity for a ryokan: enjoy carefully selected plum wines from around Japan while looking out over a beautifully maintained, tranquil Japanese garden. There are also rooms where you can stay with pets, making it a family-friendly choice. Access: there is a Yukai Resort round-trip direct bus from the Osaka/Kyoto area. By train, a free shuttle bus is available from JR San’in Main Line “Kurayoshi Station.” From Tottori Airport, limousine buses run to Kurayoshi / Misasa Onsen. By car, it’s about 40 km from Yubara IC (Yonago Expressway), roughly 1 hour.
