Tottori Hanakairo Flower Park

Tottori Hanakairo is Japan’s largest flower park, filled with highlights across its expansive grounds. The signature attraction is the 1 km-long covered corridor (the “kairo”), which lets you enjoy panoramic views of the undulating gardens from many angles. With thoughtful staging and design, visitors of all ages can stroll comfortably, enjoyably, and at a relaxed pace. Because the corridor is covered, it’s also a great option in rainy weather. The on-site restaurant emphasizes local ingredients—underground water drawn at Hanakairo, plus local rice, fresh fish, vegetables, and meat. At the shop, don’t miss the “Tottori pear soft-serve,” a unique local specialty. Access: by public transport, take the free direct shuttle bus from JR Yonago Station (served by the San’in Main Line / Sakai Line / Hakubi Line), about 25 minutes. By car, about 10 minutes from Mizoguchi IC (Yonago Expressway) or about 20 minutes from Yonago IC.
