Dogo Onsen Yachiyo is a ryokan that was renovated in August 2018. It is about a 7-minute walk from the Iyotetsu city tram “”Dogo Onsen Station.”” The rooms have a Japanese-modern style, featuring rounded rattan chairs, and are spacious—roughly 55.8㎡ to 111.6㎡. Every guest room includes a dining room, living room, bedroom, and a private open-air bath. The sleeping area is set on a slightly raised platform where futons are laid out, giving a bed-like feel. The dining room has table-and-chair seating, so guests don’t need to worry about sitting seiza-style. Both dinner and breakfast can be served in-room, allowing guests to dine at their own pace without concern about other travelers. The creative Japanese cuisine features fresh Setouchi seafood and vegetables and is designed to be visually appealing as well as delicious. In addition to private baths in every room, the ryokan also has a communal large bath for guests who want to stretch out.
