Matsuyama Ropeway Shopping Street is a barrier-free shopping street about 500 meters long, running from the Ichibancho intersection to around the Ropeway Higashi-Shinonomeguchi station area. Across the street from the Ichibancho intersection, the Okaido Shopping Arcade continues. The nearest stop on the Ichibancho-intersection side is the Iyotetsu city tram “”Okaido.”” The street includes several must-visit shops such as “”Kirinomori Kashikobo Matsuyama Store”” (famous for Kirinomori Daifuku), the Imabari towel specialty shop “”Iori Matsuyama,”” and the citrus-processed-goods specialty store “”10FACTORY Matsuyama Main Store”” with stylish packaging. At the creative cuisine restaurant “”Ehime Kitchen,”” visitors can try the novelty experience of pouring mikan juice from a tap, and the same concept is also available at “”Ehime Egao Tourism & Products Center,”” so it’s worth trying at either spot.
