Jigokumuri is a traditional Japanese woodworking technique in which no nails are used. The building is designed to resemble a pineapple, and the inside of the building is like being bathed in sunlight filtering through the trees.

Major Taiwanese Souvenirs

Pineapple cake, famous in Taiwan as a candy that brings happiness, is one of the most famous souvenirs of a trip to Taiwan, and many people have probably had it. At this store, you can eat not only pineapple cake but also apple cake. It is recommended to eat it little by little with a cup of hot Taiwanese tea. Tokyo Cathedral St. Mary's Cathedral

The Catholic Church in Bunkyo-ku was designed by Kenzo Tange.
It is designed in an eye-catching sci-fi style that makes it very hard to believe that it was designed more than 50 years ago. The only thing Christian about it is that it is a cross when viewed from above, making it very hard to believe it is a church from the exterior alone. The light attached to the upper side is also designed like a top light.

Cross from above

Surrounded by poured concrete, the Tokyo Cathedral of St. Mary of the Angels is surrounded by a simplicity that conversely evokes a sense of the divine and allows the pipe organ to resonate well.

Mitaka Tenmei Reversal Housing

Mitaka Tenmei Hiei Jutaku (Reversible Destiny House) was constructed by Shusaku Arakawa and Madeline Gins. It is surprising to look at, but the inside is also entertaining with its unconventional design. There are actually nine apartment buildings attached to each other, and they can be lived in as rentals. It is still rented out and you can only enter during tours and workshops. It has an elevator and a mailbox, and at a glance it looks like a normal house, but it has vivid colors everywhere, a perfectly spherical shape, a floor that is not flat, and light switches in strange places. The house is popular among artists, designers, and young children, but it is an architecture that you should see at least once in your lifetime, if only for a tour.

Short stays are also available!

It is possible to stay at the hotel from 22,000 yen per night. It is possible for groups or couples on sightseeing trips to stay here. Although food is not served, you can cook or bring your own food, so you can enjoy your stay.
