Especially now during the Coronavirus pandemic avoiding the crowds and getting around on electrically assisted bikes is an excellent choice which we strongly recommend. Even some of the popular spots included in the Osaka One Day Pass are easier to access, due to their distance from the nearest train station. Not to mention that the e-bikes make even riding up slopes a breeze!

The e-Pass is a convenient virtual ticket that will get you into over 25 popular Osaka attractions with a single QR code.

During the purchase of The Osaka Pass you are required to select the date you wish to go sightseeing, however until that date (11:59 pm of the previous day), you can change it as many times as you want. If your plans change suddenly you can easily adjust the date of use accordingly.

The Osaka Bike Sharing service offers you the opportunity to easily rent an electrically assisted bike when you need it and then drop it off at your destination. Renting them is as easy as simply touching the reader placed on the bike with your IC card at the bike terminal. This elegant transportation method is a great alternative to crowded trains and difficult to park cars.

Claim your one day pass and simply place it on the card reader to unlock your bike.

You do not have to return the bike to its original terminal, simply drop it off at a designated terminal closest to your destination!

The electrically assisted bikes make conquering slopes a breeze!

All bikes are fully insured.

(1) On the day of use visit one of the officially designated exchange spots. Scan your QR code at the specified terminal and receive your Osaka One Day Pass IC Card.
※Please be sure to print out or otherwise prepare your QR code in advance.

(2)Press the START button on the electronic lock and place your IC card on the designated reader area to unlock your bike. (4-digit code is not required)

(3)Temporary Parking

Please be sure to manually lock the lock in the rear section of the bike when parking
※The procedure may differ depending on the lock type.
※On bikes where an orange handle is present the handle must be pressed during locking of the bike.

To unlock the bike please press either the START or 「開始」(RELEASE) button and follow the same steps as when you rented the bike initially (2).

(4)Returning the bike

Please lock the bike manually.
※If you are having difficulties with locking the bike, please try moving the rear wheel a little bit as one of the spokes may be hindering the lock.

For bikes with square shaped locking mechanism press the ENTER button and confirm that the display reads 「返却」(RETURN).
For bikes with the round shaped lock, press the「返却」(RETURN) button and confirm that the ring turns green before completing the return process.

※Since the One Day Pass enables you to use the bike as many times as you would like on the same day until 23:59, please be sure to return it to a nearby terminal in case of prolonged period of disuse.

・Please be sure to exchange the E-Ticket during its period of validity printed on the ticket.
・Changing validity dates or cancelling the Osaka One Day Pass after you have already claimed the Osaka Bike Sharing Pass (IC card) are not possible.
・You will be required to fill in a form at the designated exchange spots.
・Presenting yourself with a valid official ID (passport, drivers license etc.) at the designated exchange spots is mandatory.

・As part of preventive measures to stop the spread of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) some of the venues may be temporarily closed, have their business hours changed or have restrictions in place e.g. limiting entry to premises. Please confirm the details with the respective venues in advance.
・Hit the Use Tickets button on your DeepExperienceOSAKA My Page, and show the QR code to staff at the select facilities on the day you choose to use the pass.
※ After purchase, it may take a few moments before you can use the ticket.

＜Bike Sharing Important notes＞
■Date changes or cancellations once you have exchanged the ticket are not possible.

Terms and Conditions
■The business days and hours during which the pass may be purchased at specific vendors may be limited.
■Since the pass enables you to rent a bike as many times as you would like until 23:59, please be sure to temporarily return the bike to the nearest terminal if you are not going to use it for a prolonged period.
■Parking: Please be sure to use the designated bike terminals or designated parking lots of the respective facilities you are visiting. If the bike is towed away as a result of illegal parking outside of the designated spots, the impound and retrieval cost will be charged to the customer.
■It is not possible to return or refund the Osaka Bike Sharing Pass once the Osaka One Day Pass has either expired or been used, even if the Osaka Bike Sharing Pass has not been used at all.

＜How to use the e-bikes＞
1.Turn on the bike and confirm that the battery is charged.
2.At night and dim lighting conditions be sure to turn on the lights.
3.Please wait for at least two seconds before you step on the pedals.
※The electrical assistance system starts operating once you begin to move so please take extra care when you start pedaling.
※Minimum height requirement is 145cm.
