Held: Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00am and 2:00pm

Authentic Tea Ceremony Experience
If you book the "Sakai Tai-an Special Guided Tour Set," you can experience a Japanese tea ceremony in Muichi-an, a 4.5 tatami room open only on certain days and times.
"Muichi-an" is a reconstruction of the tearoom Hideyoshi Toyotomi used for the Grand Kitano Tea Ceremony. Take a look at "Sakai Tai-an," reconstructed from the national treasure, "Tai-an," and enjoy a tea experience only available here.
・Participants must wear socks.
・Closed on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (if Tuesday is a public holiday, Sakai Plaza of Rikyu and Akiko will remain open and close on Wednesday instead). Also closed for New Years holiday period.
