Night view to see by ropeway



It is a 3-minute ropeway ride, but it is also recommended as you can see the Onomichi Waterway as you go up.
The ropeway is only open until 5:15 p.m., depending on the season, so if you only want to see the night view, you will have to drive up, leave your car at the parking lot, and walk to the observation deck. It takes about 5 minutes to get there on foot.

Kusatozan Park Observatory



The night view from the Kusadoyama Park Observatory in Meiodai shows the neon lights of both the city and the factory area.
The illumination of the city of Fukuyama, the Ashida River, and the factory area shines like a jewel.
You can see a 360-degree panoramic view of the nightscape, and although many couples come here every day, it is unlikely that you will miss any of the viewing spots since you can go around in a circle.

Two hundred stairs of both castles



This is also the famous 200 stairs where the Umizaru movie was shot. The night view from there is also wonderful.
There are 200 steep steps, which may be a bit difficult for those who lack exercise, but climbing the stairs together will be a memorable experience.
Both sides of the stairs are residential, so be quiet when going up at night.
A short distance down the stairs is the Ryoujo Chibi Plaza, from which you can see the night view through the fence without having to look back at the stairs.
