Activity Information

Experience Kyudo - traditional Japanese archery

The ecstatic sensation of loosing the arrow and watching it hit the target is something everyone regardless of age, sex or nationality can enjoy.
Through this activity you can experience first hand both the difficulty and the excitement of the traditional Japanese archery, complete with traditional attire and authentic bows.
Most of our customers have no prior experience of Kyudo so it is a great opportunity to get to know the art and its difficulty for total beginners as well.

Our shooting range lane is shorter than normal, making it easy to practice even for children and first-timers.
Popular with Japanese, but just as enjoyable for foreign tourists this tour is a great choice for groups of friends, families and even couples who would like to experience a bit of the traditional culture hands-on.
We also accept children-only bookings!

We are located in the shopping arcade of Hiroshima Hondori, mere 3 minutes on foot from the Atomic Dome and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Since we are an indoor activity we operate in any weather!

Achievement Stickers included!

At the end of the experience we will have a small tournament and award you with a commemorative sticker according to your results!

注意事项

※Entry permitted to non-participants who accompany the participants.
※There is no changing room available. Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. In case of renting traditional archer clothes, please wear them on top of your own clothes.
※Please inform us in advance of any injuries especially regarding your upper body, including but not limited to torso and limbs. Due to safety concerns we reserve the right to refuse service based on severity of your injuries.
※Same as above applies for both physical and mental disabilities. Please consult with us in advance. Due to safety concerns we reserve the right to refuse service based on severity of your disability.
※We are located on the third floor, however elevator is unfortunately not available.
※As a measure against the Covid-19 virus restrooms are temporarily not available.
※Due to your physique or incorrect bow handling the string may hit your forearm or wrist when firing the bow, leading to a swelling. As we aim to prevent any injuries we will have wrist and forearm guards prepared as necessary.
※Maximum shooting range capacity is 4 people. In case of groups of 5 participants the experience will be held on a rotational basis, with total duration time extended to make sure all participants get an equal participation time.
※We will provide direct assistance to participants unable to fully handle the bow on their own (e.g. small children). Should multiple participants require such assistance we will conduct the experience on a rotational basis.
